This was a freebie - my friend Steve’s wife got the tickets form work and, despite not having much of an opinion about Travis we went along. It was a Bank Holiday too. Anyway, they did all the hits and I’m fairly sure it rained during that song. They also did a cover of Mott the Hoople’s ‘All the Young Dudes’ which was quite good. What happened to Travis? It was like they were only going one way and then somewhere around 2002 Coldplay’s second record came out and everyone decided they’d only room one of the, So it was bye bye Travis., hello Chris Martin and goop and conscious uncoupling and kinds with names like Apple. Shame - they probably deserved better.
